I'll direct you to a special project I just finished yesterday and the video is being finished as I wrote this. A song I wrote in tribute to the one of the greatest living guitar legends of our time.

That's a great tribute, James -- and you have a very good voice as well (for some reason, I hadn't gotten around to clicking on your Facebook music before).

I have "This Is Spinal Tap" at the ready for later tonight, along with "Brothers of the Head", which is like the punk rock version and has a cameo by Rob Reiner.

That was great! Wow, what a lot of work; Tufnel will be virtually honored.

Duh! It just dawned on me why the amps are set up that way. They make an "11." How did I miss that the first time? Stared right at it and just thought "left & right." Cool.

Yeah... subliminal. I did the whole thing in like five days from concept, writing, tracking, then having my bud Jim lay drums and mix in L.A. through various back and forth notes between us and then got it on iTunes and then performed and edited a music video with the help of some great friends. Five days from concept to completion. I haven't slept much!!

Oh... and here's that video... enjoy:

Nice, James! A fitting tribute to Nige!

I just watched the movie again - my new favorite moment is when Nigel pauses to tune the violin he's using to bow his guitar strings.

Like, hardly. That Marshall array is the rock-n-roll twin towers (respectfully lower case). That jumped out at me first. Then there is the "ele" connection. Brilliant artwork all around-- clever on so many levels. Great job.

Dude-- do you do ANYTHING by halves? Hokey smoke, Bullwinkle! 8) 8) 8)

Great, GREAT job, James.

Man, that mix was terrific. I think the whole thing went to 12. What a worthy tribute. Thanks out loud.

So much for hobbity "elevenses". This track makes second breakfast look stupid!! Me wanna buy.

Great stuff-- cleverly done-- respectfully rendered-- and somehow in its own way quite original. That alone is no small feat.

Loved the vid! Man, as Frodo said, do you do anything halfway? That was excellent. I didn't even miss the 11 go-go girls, but now that I said that, I'm starting to  (but that has nothing to do with the quality of the video). I'm glad to hear that the drums were really "someone." They sounded great, and I was wondering how you got that from a drum library. Shoulda known.
