155MB so may take a little while to stream smoothly. I kept it large so you could read the library name. No sound, but there is sound.

http://www.midilifecrisis.com/M5K4.mov" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (go to full screen for best resolution).

At some point, I dragged the library name to the left column which appeared to have to effect. But it might help M5 to recognize the library. Frankly, I have no idea why it works for me and not for some of you guys.

I'll leave the video up for a day or two.

Their Kontakt 4 library may have been resaved using the new compressed sample format and/or using new preset binary format which are incompatible with MachFive 3

Is there a way to verify that? Extension? Format? Size? I wonder if they could reinstall from the K4 dics and recover the workable files? That's a pretty substantial loss, IMO.

How about screen prints of a Finder window containing the samples, and compare file modification dates and file sizes?

When I buy Machfive 3 will I get disks for Mac or PC or both. I want both. How does this work? MOTU support is glacial. :x

both of course. The distinction between mac and PC was only in MachFive 1(8 years ago)
