Can't access Loop Lab in M5 v2

Hi all. I'm still using V2 of M5. I'm trying to lengthen (stretch) a loop in Loop Lab, but can't even get in to LL. What I think I have to do is access the Akai file off the original CD, drag it to a Part in the Part List, and then LL will open automatically, right? Problem with this is that the Akai files are iso'd in M5, and when I try to open the actual CD, it defaults to the audio files and tries to open them in iTunes.

I would appreciate any helpful hints that anyone can offer....I'm stumped!
