Hi folks
I did a full reformat on my Macmini cause it become unstable.
Nearly forgot how to install all my softwares it's been nearly a year the last time I have done this.
I use 2 firewire audio interfaces(Motu Ultralite and 824mk)for which I had to create a "aggregate device" so I can use a total of 16 mono outputs for my Machfive 2 in Cubase.
I have made a Cubase 16 channel template at 48khz and ofcourse I had to put MachFive and the interfaces also at 48khz.
But now when playing my instruments it sounds cracky.
The sounds the same as when a speaker wire is loose.(I think you got the idea)
I know it probably has to do with sample and ram rate in the Machfive.
I have tried a couple of setting but with no succes.
There are 2 preferences settings I tried, the one in the Machfive toolbar and the one in the Machfive main screen.
Could someone give me some guidenes how to set up these sample and ram rates?
It was all working fine before the formating but I don't remember these settings.
The Macmini is dualcore intel and 4gig of ram so no problem there.
I downloaded the latest drivers on the Motu website.
Thanks

It may be that you are over loading your processor; check you CPU when running M5 and you host. You may need to change the buffer settings in M5 or you host DAW.

Just for the records
After trying different settings in Machfive and Cubase I finally solved the riddle.
So you guys could be right.
The problem was not in the Machfive but in the Cubase settings.
I went to: Device setup/Vst audio system/Audio priority/ this last setting has to be set to "boost" not to normal.
I also checkmarked the "release driver when application is in background" and the "multi processing" option.
Thanks for replying.
