.01, .02, .03 etc are bug fix
.10, .20, .30 etc usually add features.

MachFive 3.0.1 is a bug fix version

minor problems i've had in the first couple of days using it are:

MIDI connection randomly dropped between my keyboard and DP (never happened before)

Soundbanks Libraries (the dvds that you install) don't stay saved in the List. this may be my error- perhaps you must "save" each one the first time?-m but that seems odd. so far, since the update, they've stayed put!

Does anyone know if you can import Reason .rfl files? I bought their first string cd many years ago and still love to use it, but I don't seem to be able to import it.

I'll have time to work with it later today and will report back. All in all, it looks terrific and really a welcome upgrade.

check the soundbanks panel in the preferences(main menu) to add folder for auto mounting.

thanks hugy. I do have all 3 of the boxes checked.
for now, i've just added the Machfive 3 folder (with all of the .ufs files) as my favorite in the places list. so at least it's a fast way to access them.

General comments: Factory sounds are excellent although I don't understand yet how to access the variations huge samples of the telematic guitar, J-Bass, Fazoli piano and other multi-sampled instruments. After going through the tutorial in the user guide I discovered a bug with the screen itself which has a tendency to grey out after or during adjustment of a parameter such as the filter and sometimes the browser get separated from the instantiated plug-in in DP and the only way so far to get rid of it is to close the plug-in window. Now this question is for those of you who perhaps done beta testing for this product. I need to know how to get the MachFive 3 to read my machfive 2 sounds because they are greyed out in the browser.By the way I still have the MachFive 2 installed on my machine.

remove all M5v2 ufs from the browser favorites if there is any
Then go to prefs > soundbanks and add the folder where v2 ufs are and check the automount flag
