Anyone use R-Bus to TDIF before? After 8 years I realized my Roland VM-C7200 Mixer has 3 R-Bus ports. I have a Roland Dif-at box which I can changes R-Bus to TDIF. I my hope here is to utilize my mixer for overflow synth tracks and some effects and then Send them into on eof my MOTU 2408 MK3's TDIF ports. A
All seem slike it'll work fine but was curious if anyone has dealt with R_Bus in DP? I'm hoping there's no noticeable latency?
Love to hear some similar experiences. Thanks!

No experiences doing this, but if my memory is correct, you will need to run a word clock cable between the 2 devices to get the clocks in sync. TDIF does not communicate the word clock like an ADAT port does.

Both my digital mixer and my MOTU 2408 MK3's are clocked to a BLA Microclock Mk2, so I guess that would be sufficient.
