Simple question..(I hope)

Will Mach 5 needs a separate ilok of it's own, or can I place it's authorization on an ilok I already have that contains of all my other authorizations?

I think it's a pretty sure bet that the one iLok can handle it. Why would this be any different?

It'll accept iLok 1 or 2 for authorization.
Just got the update today. Can't wait to install it tomorrow!

Funny thing I don't see a MAS plugin version.. I have an audio unit, a VST, and an rtas plugin.. is Motu doing away with the MAS plugin format..? Or am I missing something..? So far it plays well on my Lion test bed, now if that damn UAD quad would show up..!!

I have scene an out of memory warning while loading some of it's library. I have 8gb ram.. i guess its time for an upgrade to 16gb..

Also when will BPM, Electric Keys, Ethno and the rest be lion compatible..

I believe that MOTU has not included a MAS version. There was another thread that I think mentioned that.

The MAS format don't support 64 bits "technology".
MOTU use cocoa UI in order to support 64bits version of OSX.

In this thread, the developer says that only a small subset of the V1 and 2 sound libraries is included in V3. Seems to me that would be difficult for exiting users, so I guess I must be misunderstanding what he means. Any comments? Also could anyone point out where a list of the sounds can be found? Could find it.

Ok, just got mine today and..I know it's early, I'm also happy that we got a nice upgrade after all these years, but does anyone else find the Parts window a little hard to get an overview of ?

I'd like the parts box to have the colour that you can assign to the left side, which I find a little small/thin. Ideally, I'd like to group all my parts into colour groups, not really getting a nice overview right now, perhaps in a future update ?

Either way, thanks for a really powerful upgrade, MOTU, nice one.

!!! Do you have Nomad Horns? A great sound, but I lost the file. I really miss it. :(
I love Miami Brass from the EPS 16+ factory sounds. I still have the silly EPS 16+ rack module right here just for that one. I've tried converting it over with the Chicken Systems translator and it doesn't quite work. Other instruments do, but not that one. :(

Beware that DP is still 32bits so any plugins loaded in DP cannot handle more 4Go of RAM.

That makes sense... Now how long will it take for 64bit compatability...?

If you use Bidule64 in rewire mode, you can load as many samples as your memory allows and play it through DP.
