¿ How to remove one measure ...

Post by nickysnd »

... while not leaving a gap? I mean, having the rest of the session automatically sliding back one measure and filling the gap. PT shuffle mode does just that, if you are familiar with it. Is there anything similar in DP? I know I can do it manually, just wandering if there is a function for that.

.

Yes. Use the Snip command. You may want to include the CT in your selection too.

It's amazing how even experienced users overlook some of these things. DP is deep. Love Snip and Splice and use them all the time. :)

I'm not what you may call an experienced user, although I have DP since 2005.

But yes, now that I think of it, DP sometimes may look deceitfully simple, and it actually is truly deep - the more I use it the more I realize that (and very often thanks to the wonderful people in this forum, I should add).

Funny, I was struggling to find the equivalent to snip in protools, till I saw this post. Definitely, a fan of snip, one of my favorite commands in DP.
