Main Output fader doesnt work

Hey guys,
I have an MOTU Traveler MK1 and when I for example start iTunes and put down the master volume from the Cue-Mix console, the loudness doesnt change. The output is set on analog 1&2, while the input from tTunes is the on the same channels, so it should work.

It just doesnt work. Is there any specific setup I must use to make it work or is my hardware defect? IF it is defect, how can I find the error and repair it? (No warranty anymore)
