Has anyone happened to try the Presouns Firepod with OSX Lion yet? Curious to if it'll work.
Thanks!

Re: Firepod with OSX Lion?
Presonus is saying that nothing is 10.7 compatible - yet. Historically, they are always pretty far behind when it comes to new drivers - ok, not as far behind as ProTools...

Actually, I think you may it to be compatible. If you look at Presonus's web site, it says "No driver required" as did my FireBox, which works fine.
Can't say the same for my FireStudio Lightpipe ...

Re: Firepod with OSX Lion?
I've used my firepod for the past 4 Mac OS's, never installed a driver.
Using Lion, I just fired up Digital Performer 6(which MOTU said wouldn't work) through my firepod(which presonus said wouldn't work) and laid down some vocals. Everything was fine!

Re: Firepod with OSX Lion?
DP 5.13 & 6.03 work fine on my machine. I don't believe that you can install them on Lion, however, as the installers are PPC - also authenticating the installer CD doesn't work. But upgrading a working copy on a 10.6.8 drive does work.
