Replacement audiowire cable for PCI-324?

Post by satsloader »

Sorry if I missed a previous post in my searches here, I'm missing the cable that originally came with my ( purchased used ) 2408mk2. I've had this in it's box for 3 years, but never got around to installing, as I was happy with my old Aardvark. Actually, I forgot I had the Motu until I found it packed away during a move last week. I'm ready to take the plunge and enjoy 4 more inputs over the Aardvark. I saw the 6ft. and 15ft. Audiowire cables for sale on Motu's site. Motu states that their cables will work with the PCI-424. Will it work with my PCI-324 as well? I know, should be obvious that it does, but I try not to assume, been burned a few times on "the obvious".

Sincerely,

Just use a firewire cable (it'll be alot cheaper).
Studio: i7 4770K, 32Gb DDR3, W8.1 x64, PCIe424, 2408Mk3.
Stage: Lenovo W530 i7 3720QM, 16Gb DDR3, W7 x64.VS700R.

That'll work.
However, you might have to cut off about 1/8 to 1/4 inch of the plastic casing on the PCI card side to allow the cable to fully seat.

I had to, anyway.
