14. ...if we could have full Track Folder control in the new Contextual Menus.
We can create new ones from there, but can't remove or delete them. Digging into that 2 menu deep, non-resizable dialog seems a bit unnecessary.
13. ...if the Mixing Board would not respond to selections from other windows.
If the Mixing Board is closed, and you have some tracks selected in an edit window, the mixer will only show those tracks when opened. Don't know when I'd need that feature.
I like much of what's on your list, but this behavior with the mixer is one that really annoys me.
Along with fixing this (or giving us the option to override that behavior), I would like the ability to load (recall) Board Layouts with key commands. I rarely use Board Layouts now because of having to go into the mixer's mini menu and selecting them, but they can be most useful when working on larger projects.

Track folders in general really have a "tacked on" feel. They don't feel like part of the app, but some 3rd party plugin that adds partially functional folders. I'd like to see those go further, too, and certainly it seems appropriate for a contextual menu.

this is a pretty minor one, but it'd be nice if we could set a default folder for bounced file destination. i never store these in the project folder so have to change it every time i open a project up. it's not that big of a deal, like i said, but it seems like there should be an easy way to include an option for that.
i don't have a problem with the send gain, more than half the time i use sends it's for parallel compression anyways, so it seems like a convenience having it set to unity. i'm also thinking in terms of insert effects, those are all applied to a unity gain signal, no? i'm assuming that everyone who is wishing for zero gain is mostly using sends for reverb busses and such. i'm asking cuz now i'm wondering why a couple of responses have been saying that, by necessity, u end up changing the send level anyway. for parallel compression, i usually start with unity and detract from there accordingly for elements i don't want included to any degree.
this thread has also made me want to read up in the manual on what uses track folders are for, i've never paid much attention to those. also mix layouts, i think i tried those out once and discarded the idea for some reason.
great thread, even just for making me go back and take the time to investigate those options.
i forgot, also, it would be really nice if there was a keyboard shortcut to get to hardware setup. i end up changing this a lot more than i used to, now that i've been using VI's.
