ASK video Kontakt tutorial problem SOLVED

hi,
I am pretty sure this is pilot error,I have never used any kind of video tutorial and I am baffled.
Last week when ASK video was having a sale I got their Kontakt package,dl'ed and installed.
When ever I try to play a file I get a small black screen,top left corner of monitor,code appears and no sound
I have tried several times ,looked at settings etc...and have not figured out how to get this to work.
I sent ASK 2 emails last week and have not gotten a reply.
I hope this is something simple to figure out............. any ideas my less video challenged friends?

No, that's how you use Kontakt.

Seriously, can you re-download? What is the format? Is it a proprietary player?

You might try the VLC player. It plays almost anything.

as I suspected it was pilot error,I was trying to open incorrectly
this package looks like it will be most helpful in my quest to delve deeper into Kontakt.
on another note:the person I dealt with was most helpful as well as informative,the DP7 tutorial volume 1 will be released in about a week and volume 2 in about 2 weeks!
