Re: Amadeus Pro
Yes, I do. Thanks for asking.
I don’t have much need of a 2 track editor, I’m not sure what other people do with them. I generally open it when I want to edit a simple sound. I’m not sure that’s actually easier than just using DP, but I often do it anyway. I’m happy with it.
I just realized there’s a new major version out. I’m still using ver. 1. I don’t know if I’ll upgrade for $40, like I said, I’m not sure why I don’t just use DP for what I do with it.

Re: Amadeus Pro
The new version certainly has more features, but I think you're right, it's probably easier just to do simple edits in DP.bongo_x wrote:Yes, I do. Thanks for asking.

By the way, I do think that time stretching and apple loop implementation is less than ideal in DP. I use Propellerhead's Record for time stretching, the algorithm is brilliant, and it changes tempos non-destructively in real time. Record has it's limitations too, for example it doesn't read .caf files!
Thanks for the reply.

Re: Amadeus Pro
I use Amadeus Pro quite a bit. I started because I liked their "repair centre" for clicks and pops, and in older versions of DP, the waveform editor was a bit quirky and difficult for me to navigate. I liked, and still like, the way Amadeus Pro works, so I still use it.
What I use even more in AP now is the batch processing functionality. It's super-handy. Really like it.
Still not sure whether to jump to 2.0. Probably wait until I'm more 64-bit with the rest of my stuff.
