PCI Expansion box

Has anyone had any experence with PCI expansion boxes?
I love my G5 but need more PCI slots for 2 more UAD-1 cards.

They been in the biz for a while. Originally making PCI breakouts for G3 PowerBooks running Media 100, Avid and Pro Tools.

Magma is pretty well established. I have seen thier products in action and seem to work well. It seems that you may face the common run-of-the-mill issues when adding hardware like this. Software compatibility, performance issues, strange ticks, pops and clicks. Who knows, nothing is ever easy. Even installing RAM has its woes.

Switch to a FireWire alternative maybe to free up some slots.
