Hi,
I have a Win 7 64-bit system with PCI 424 card and Motu 2408 mk3. A week ago tried to use my digital mixer (DM-24) as Cumix controller and created a HUI device in Cuemix. Cuemix stopped for a second and then crashed. Since then it crashes everytime I try to launch it. I won't even see the Cuemix window, only the error window. I tried uninstalling everything and even deleted Audio Console's and Cumix's prefs files in appdata but nothing helped. It still shows the same error every time I launch it. Has anyone had such a problem?
I tried to contact motu tech support but since I bought the pci 424 and motu 2408 used on ebay, then I needed to re-register it and I've been waiting for that to happen for 5 days or so.
Here's the error log:

Re: Cuemix crashes
That's a buffer overflow. Try increasing the buffer size in the MOTU Audio Console.
Otherwise, try completely uninstalling the MOTU software then boot to safe mode and re-install from there. Boot to normal and see how it goes.
You could also try changing the IEEE1394 (Firwire) driver to the legacy one in Device Manager to see if this might have a beneficial effect.
