motu 308 questions anybody still have one even?

hey... so i've using this traveler for a while and i was about to get a 2408mk3 to replace my broken one, but here's what i really want to do... ive become a huge fan of using 2 channel D/A converters and 2 channel A/D converters, and im about to get more, but the traveler only has aes and spidf/ or light pipe spidf, and so i only get 4 channels of external converter I/O.

i want to be able to use more of these two channel converters with my motu set up.

finally i saw this old motu 308. it has 8 channels of spidf I/O, toslink spidf I/O, and aes I/O.

i have two questions though its such an old device i can't imagine i'll get an answer as they are for sure all just collecting dust now.

1. can i use 8 channels of each at the same time giving me the possibility of 24 channels? or is it only spidf, or only, toslink, or only aes?

2. has anyone (or does any know if) used theirs with a newer pci-E 424 card?
