Can you post what your system specs are? Computer, OS, and such?
Have you registered your unit with MOTU? They generally want you to register the product before tech support will help.

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Early 2013)
2.4 GHz Intel Core i7, 8GB RAM, OS High Sierra 10.13.2, DP8.07, 256GB SSD
828mkII, 8Pre, Alesis M1 Active Mk2, Ext. FW drives, Yamaha fretless bass, Kay upright bass, Wechter acoustic/electric, trombone, baritone and a proclivity for polka music. (With sufficient quantities of beer) and I play country music.

I think it doesn't mater, because it should work with out PC, but it doesn't!

I use devise with:
ACER aspire 5739G
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2 ГГц
15.6″
NVIDIA GeForce GT 130M
RAM: 4 Гб DDR3
HDD: 500 Гб
Windows 7 x64 Ultimate

(at this evening I will try to install Windows 7 x32 Home Premium)

I had registered my device before I write in support. And if it legal, I may publish our correspondence with Motu support.

There's definitely something wrong with the screen. When I power up my Ultralite, it shows a message about entering setup, and then after a couple seconds shows the main screen. Are you using the proper power adapter? It sounds like you got a USA model, and USA voltage may be different from your country's standard.

At first, I also saw a message about entering setup, but then the message began to disappear. Now I do not see it in general.
I asked my friend who is expert in the field of electronics. And he is told me that the screen is works. It have just two condition: works and didn't works. If I don't see the text, then it's a problem in the brain of the device.

There are no differences between the models for USA and Europe.
They are sold with the power supply is rated at 100-240V ~ 50/60Hz
It is suitable for Europe and the U.S. power grid.

I don't have the Ultralite, but my 828 has a switch on one end for either 120 or 240 volt operation. Could your's have something like that?

Your device made in U.S. And your internal power adapter produced in U.S. too.
And it's different from Ultra Lite mk3. It has external power adapter made in China. It's hasn't switcher it's work without it.
I haven't problem with power. I have problem with device.
