Help!! Audio is playing faster and more than a whole step hi

Hello, I'm running a session at my other studio and all my songs are faster and more than a whole step higher! Example! I'm running a session at 172 BPM, I have a BPM calculated in my I phone, I tap that and the tempo is 182! I have opened multiple sessions same problem! I also imported some files in Protools and everything is fine! Never had this problem before. I'm running DP 7.22 on a apple 8 core desktop on OS 10.6.6 into a Moyu 896 HD!

Make sure the project is set to playback at the same Sample Rate you recorded the soundbites, or have DP convert the soundbites to the new sample rate.

Sounds like audio clock and DP project sample rate don't match... project likely 44.1k, clock 48k. Easy to have happen when using an external clock.

Try lightly brushing your finger up against the platter. That should slow it down and lower the pitch a little.

Thanx people! I tried all of your solutions before I posted! I figured out the problem!! My studio partner chan link his digi 02 to my 896 via fire wire. As soon as I disconnected the FireWire. Presto!! Problem solved! Boy that almost drove me crazy!!
