I just purchase DP7 in order to use it as a virtual mixer, slaving via MIDI Clock to Ableton Live on a separate computer as the master DAW. The problem is that tempo-based effects are rendered useless when there are tempo changes. DP blindly follows incoming MIDI Clock without updating its own tempo. It follows accurately, but it still "thinks" its in the original tempo, so that tempo-based effects like delay or echo, don't adjust accordingly. Why I ask?? It seems like a design flaw to me, I can't see any reason for this, since Ableton Live can follow MIDI Clock, and, it can adjust the sync of effects when there are changes.
Has anyone else encountered this limitation and if so, figured out a workaround? Thanks!

Re: DP Slaving to MIDI Clock Issue
I've never had the need, so I don't know how well it works or how to set it up, but have you set DP's tempo source to Remote Source? By the looks of it, that should do it.
