Over on my pc daw machine (Sonar 8.3.1) I use a utility program called midiox. It can do a lot of things - route MIDI, show MIDI messages going to and fro, work with sysex messages (it's the one stable way I have of updating the operating system of my Moog Voyage Rack Mount), etc. It's great for helping me to debug when something's going awry in the MIDI stream.
Is there anything like this for the Mac? Google doesn't turn up much except for snoize which doesn't cover the same ground midiox does and which I really need. I now some MIDI routing can be done in Audio/MIDI setup in the Mac but again not enough for my needs/wants.
midiox for Mac?

Re: midiox for Mac?
I don't know if you noticed, but snoize offers two programs - MIDI Monitor and Sysex Librarian. I use Sysex Librarian to store patches and update OS on my Moog LP. For remapping CC's on the fly and that sort of thing give MIDIpipe a try.

Don't know why but I just fixated on the Librarian part of Snoize - the MIDI monitor looks like it'll do what I want. Updating the system on my Moog Voyager Rack Mount was a nightmare trying to use Moog's way of doing it - it scrambled the Voyager. Luckily I had midiox to come to the rescue. Being that the Snoize Sysex Librarian works on your Little Phatty it should work okay on the Voyager.
