MOTU Ultralite MK3 Hybrid
Firmware: 1.02
Hardware: 1.0
I got a keyboard controller (Evolution MK-261) connected to MOTU MIDI IN, and an Ensoniq ASR-X MIDI IN port conected to MOTU MIDI OUT.
Everything´s fine when the computer is on and a software like Nuendo is passing MIDI commands from controller to the ASR-X sampler.
But when when the computer is off, the MOTU Ultralite doesn´t send MIDI commands from controller to ASR-X, even when "MIDI Thru in standalone" parameter is "YES".
Note: The Ultralite seems to send the "All Notes Off" command to ASR-X with success. I can see this because the MIDI status led on ASR-X blinks when this is happening.
I will appreciate any thought or comment on this issue.
Thanks!

I have the exact same problem. Googling a bit, it seems Motu is aware of the problem, but a firmware update still has to come... Did you manage to get this issue resolved ?

I had Motu tech on the phone. It is a known issue. Sad, as it's one of their selling points on this product.
