Well, there is AudioDesk that come with every MOTU interface. That's how DP got my attention. Why they haven't made it clearer that you can upgrade to DP and included more info about it in their hardware boxes is beyond me though.
It seems with DP7, in their bundling of a lot of "spiffy" guitar effects, that they're wanting to break in to the amature demographics. But they've never been committed to creating a real solid amature userbase.
Maybe that was just to avoid people moving over to Logic or just not choose DP because of lack of guitar effects. Or maybe it's just because Magic Dave is a guitar player and wanted it in there ;-)

95% is all studio recorded.
That´s my specialty and why clients come to my studio.

I do mostly roots music like Country, Bluegrass, Western Swing, Blues, Swedish Folk, Old Time, Jazz, Swing, Big Band, but I also do Pop, Funk, Rock.

Real musicians, that´s a job for DP and me :)
