Ultralite mk3 PCM Linear or Non-linear?
Anyone know if the Ultralite mk3 digital S/PDIF is linear or non-linear PCM? Can't find this info anywhere!

Re: Ultralite mk3 PCM Linear or Non-linear?
Most (if not all) professional audio gear will use linear PCM A/D and D/A converters. This is true of the UltraLite mk3 and all other MOTU audio interfaces.
The leading cause of wrong answers is asking the wrong questions.
Re: Ultralite mk3 PCM Linear or Non-linear?
Thanks for the reply. Still can't output from my Ultralite S/PDIF to a Pioneer DJM-800 mixer. I've set the Ultralite to 48kHz and 96kHz. The mixer S/PDIF accepts 44.1kHz, 48kHz and 96kHz. I've set the channel switch to digital.
The mixer accepts the digital output from my onboard soundcard ok. From the MOTU nothing. I can see the levels on the Ultralite digital output. However there is no signal on the mixer levels.
