Problems Daisy Chaining Ultralite MKIII

Post by cragto »

We have been unsuccessful in daisy chaining two Ultralite MK IIIs as described in the manual, in Sonar 8.5.3 and XP 32 bit. The system will see only one of the Ultralites at a time. The problem remains despite disabling the soundcard in Device Manager or BIOS, and regardless of use of WDM or ASIO. The Firewire is TI, and we have tried changing Firewire ports on the computer and the ports on the Ultralites.

Has anyone had success using two Ultralites in XP and Sonar 8.5.3, and if so, how was it accomplished?

Get the current driver installer from motu.com, and install that software. This feature works much better with the current driver version.
