Hey guys
I recently upgraded my recording system to a
motu 896mk3
quad core I7 2.9ghz 8gbram 1.5td harddrive , cakewalk sonar 8.5
everything works PERFECT ,i was shocked how seamlessly it all went ,
and i have at most 1ms latency in total.
However my left monitor speaker, MAIN OUTS , has been glitching , like very low volume digital static. when i am just on the desktop, it stops. if i open windows media player/youtube/sonar/anything requiring audio, the left speaker kicks in with its weird sounds.
I have read about driver issues causing crackling/popping/audio dropout , but this isnt the same. My CPU and RAM meters in cakewalk are all below 8% , no audio dropout , no glitches or freezing. Just this damned noise !!
Any help would be great dudes
Motu 896mk3 Left speaker crackle ?

Re: Motu 896mk3 Left speaker crackle ?
OK got it fixxed ... downloaded latest software and drivers etc.
I then reinstalled the old driver just to check, and the crackling began immediately, so if anyone else is having this problem, theres the answer
Problem 2 , i tried to register my 896mk and motu website says my serial number is wrong... definately not. This is also the cd with the dodgey drivers :/ wtf is going on
