Hey, quite new to all this so please be gentle.
I have FL Studio and a good windows pc, i also have lots of vst's and would like to mix a all these vst's to make a song. I have no hardware..yet, but plan on getting some compressors and synths later on. I have been recommended to purchase a MOTU 828mk3, this would allow me to use vst's and hardware...right? But also i would like to use some kind of control surface, like a BCF2000 because iam sick of using the mouse on the fl mixer. Could someone explain to me how this works...if it does?
Do the separate tracks on fl studio get routed through the fl mixer? or do they go straight to the Cuemix FX software, if so do you need to configure fl studio to do this?
Also i believe you can emulate mackie on the bcf2000 to control cuemix fx. Iam just a little confused to how this all connects up, and what goes where?
