Actually if you're running extended desktop for a two monitor setup you can move the menus between the monitors (at least you could under Tiger). The procedure is relatively simple. In the Displays prefs panel you have extended desktop selected and then drag over the menu bar to the monitor you want as your main monitor. You may or may not have to reboot. And the other nice thing with extended desktop is you don't have to have the same size/resolution screens either.

LOTS of video issues on the latest Macs, which Digilloyd has been tracking. I haven't checked his site for updates in over two weeks so don't know if anything is resolved yet. I had to switch to the previous technology from DisplayPort due to those supposedly-debugged cables not working, but it still mattered which port I used and other strangeness.

I'll try to write up something more detailed later today -- right now I am just doing some quick forum dips while trying to debug why my remote work connection isn't working anymore (there was a firewall change during my vacation, argh!).

Cool. It works on my new iMac with an El Cheapo monitor running 2nd.
