PCI-e which slot?

Post by billfiler »

Just got my new mac and had to update to the 424 pci-e card. Mac manual says slots 1 and 2 are x16 pci-e 2.0 and slots 3 and 4 are x4. Which slot do I install the new card in?

Thanks
Bill

Sadly I don't think it matters. I was concerned about this too until I learned that the PCI-424e is a 1x speed card anyway. :(
