I'll set up large palette of virtual instrument tracks. Then I'll change the instrument name from Vienna Ensemble Pro-1 to MB Strings or the like.
Then it never fails sometime in the future the virtual instrument names disappear and return back to Vienna Ensemble Pro-1. This is always a pain to go match up my virtual instruments again especially when dealing with a large palette of sounds.
Am I doing something wrong? Not sure when it reverts the name back.

Re: DP7 forgets instrument names
That'd be super.
I am sure they are, this sort of small fix is one of those (hopefully) easy fixes that can drive you nuts. Pretty much every day I have to rename about ten tracks so I can see what I'm doing in the track list.
But...you roll with it, eh? I put the track names in the Comments column in the TO to try and help, but I really don't spend much time in that window compared to the other windows, unfortunately.
