mach five vst version won't sound

i've been using mach five within DP (MAS version) for several months and just today tried to run it with another host as a vst and it won't make a sound. i then tried running m5 within DP as a vst and again, no sound. i reinstalled, and still no sound from m5 as a vst. ideas? thanks,

What host? It doesn't work in Live yet if that's what you're using.

the vst version won't even work in DP! and again, by "not working" i mean it instantiates, receives MIDI, but makes no sound. it does this in plogue bidule too. it crashes numerology when i drop it in. i haven't tried it in live yet.

there's supposed to be a new beta which fixes the problem of MachFive not being usable in Logic and in Live. I don't know if it works since I haven't downloaded it, and I don't know if the "Fix" extends to the other apps you mention.

I will add that I'm having major issues with MachFive 1.2 in DP as an MAS plug, and in GB to a lesser extent as an AU. It is completely unusable for me right now in DP 4.52, but works in DP 4.12.
