Re: Bundles mess

Hey guys.

Just to check in here: I was mentioning that I rebuilt my template fresh and made it a Stationary Pad instead of a template. I have to say I have been creating many projects with the new Stationary Pad "template", and it's been holding up here on every open. It hasn't failed yet.

So, I'm cautiously saying that I have a successful workaround by rebuilding the template and making it a Stationary Pad.

However, in the other active thread about this started by "thealps", he rebuilt a session and seemed ok until he made multiple sequences within one session and then started having problems----if I understand his postings correctly.

Anyway, just thought I'd add another note to this topic.

Anyone else care to test the theory of rebuilding from complete scratch? I know it's a pain.....

Cheers.

Stationary works fine for me too. I have had a problem in a project with two sequences using the same bundles. Deleting one sequence, the first created, discombobulated DP and removed the bundles used by the second.

I also had a problem once when I started DP without powering up the audio interface. The bundles all disappeared then too, but I haven't seen that occur regularly. I wondered if that was a problem that started in AudioMIDI and worked its was into DP.

(hehe actually, discombobulated simply means confused......if he were to say disemboweled or decapitated....now that would be gruesome!) :)

In case you didn't see this, there's a possible workaround that may save people a lot of time and trouble. Hopefully it will work for many of you and also lead to the final fix.
