Noise heard when using Kontakt 4 instruments with 828mk3

Post by composer62 »

I know this is the place for help! For the life of me I cannot figure why I am getting "noise" when playing notes in any Kontakt 4 instrument. I just bought a new Mac Pro and after 7 days (yes...7 days) of re-loading software this is happening. My buffer settings are set fine (I changed it numerous times to see if it improved, but it didn't). I don't have a clue if it's the 828 or Kontakt...my guess is its the 828 since I hear the same exact noise when listening to something online through the 828. Am I missing something that is obvious??????? The noise sounds like there is clipping happening, (but no clipping IS happening)...Any help would be extremely appreciated! Thanks!

Maybe you're clipping the speakers or amplifier. Turn down the 828mk3 output level.
The leading cause of wrong answers is asking the wrong questions.
