Hi,
I'd like to know if it's possible to use the 2 mic inputs of the ultralite mk2 as mono 1/4 jack inputs for my hardware synth (DSI Tetra), as I need more than the 6 rear-side analog inputs, because the tetra outputs 4 jacks, and I need at least 4 more for other gear...
I didn't try because I'm away from the home-studio and think a lot about buying other gear, but I'm gonna be short on the input capacity of my setup... and I don't want to use an external console, neither do I have the cash for the new gear AND a new soundcard that would give me only 2 additionnal inputs (motu 828mk2/3).
any thoughts?
Cheers

ULTRALITE MK2 : use the mic ins as 1/4 jack for synths?
Macbook 2,4ghz-4gb-OSX 10.5.8, Motu Ultralite mkII, Ableton Live 6, Roland Juno 2 alpha, DSI Evolver desktop, MFB synth II, Edirol UM-550 MIDI patchbay, a few VIs, some MIDI controllers, and soon, maybe... Digital Performer 7!

Re: ULTRALITE MK2 : use the mic ins as 1/4 jack for synths?
Yes, the first two inputs on the UltraLite are combo inputs: They will accept a mic level signal on the XLR portion of the input or a line level signal on the TRS portion.
The leading cause of wrong answers is asking the wrong questions.
