I want to group all my patches together by instrument type, but there's one problem. You can organize the Preset folder all you want, but there is no way of creating multiple folder levels in the Samples folder!!! UViX doesn't give you any options other than creating folders with the same names as the Presets. This is great until you want to combine several different libraries into one Soundbank...then you have to cross your fingers and hope that none of the Preset names match between them. If there's a match, you're screwed. There's no way to repoint the samples in any presets AT ALL.
Grrrrrrrr....

Re: Organizing Mach5 library
In the presets or the samples? They allow you to change the presets folder all you want, but you can't do anything to the samples folder or the presets won't be able to find them anymore. It wouldn't be so bad if you could somehow create another heirarchal sample layer with UViX. The only levels you get now are Samples/"Preset Name". If you are combining libraries, this is a problem. Certain types of libraries will have presets with the same names, and you can't change those preset names before conversion. If we could have Samples/"library name"/"preset name", then the problem would be solved.
This is mostly a problem for percussion or other specific instrument libraries.
