MIDI notes doubling

Post by wyn »

Why are my MIDI notes which are played in via MIDI controller doubling. It ends up sounding phazey and have to click on the top note and delete it in order to have only one note playing back. Anybody?

don't suppose you happen to be running anything like a fatar, which can transmit up to 4 channels at a time? sometimes it's really easy to accidentally have it transmitting more than 1 channel at the same time...

My KX88 defaults to dual mode, which doubles my MIDI notes. I have to set it to single. That might be your problem.

Didn't know DP4 had an 'auto quantize'. Where was that situated again?
I just realized summin', my controller has both usb and keyboard MIDI outs. I figure it could be that I had it in keyboard and not usb out. You think that's it?
