On page 62 of the Mach 5 manual, it describes dragging and dropping soundbites from DP's soundbite window directly to the keymap editor in Mach 5. This just isn't working for me. Is there any magic to this?
Thanks,

Hello
No magic needed .. so when you create a new preset, open up the soundbite window, and try and drag and drop onto the keyboard, the soundbite will just bounce back ?? What versions of DP and M5 are you using ??

Are these stereo soundbytes? if so, you have to drag them from the soundbyte menu on to your desktop and them from your desktop to the mach five window... I think it was mentioned elsewhere in this forum... it drove me crazy too until I read it here...
M2 Ultra Mac Studio (64GB RAM), 16" MacBook Pro (8 core 2.4 GHz i9, 32GB RAM, AMD Radeon Pro 5600M), Mac OS 14.6.1, MOTU DP 11.02, MachFive3.2.1, 828x, MTP AV, Roland XP-10, DJ-70, SH-101, MC-202, TB-303, RE-201, E-Mu Morpheus, Planet Earth, Moog Slim Phatty, Novation DrumStation, Oberheim OB-1, Yamaha 01V96v.2, DR-220, Casio PT-80, VL-1, SK-5, Focal CMS 50s

Right on... I just tried with a mono soundbite and it works fine. The drag to desktop then to MachFive tip works for stereo soundbites. Thanks for the help!
