Everybody knows that there is a mystery about the System Exclusive Messages for Timepiece AV, or how to program MTP AV. Motu's support say they never published it, but somebody at Motu has this list and could post it at Motu's website. I think is a Timepiece owners right to have it.
Anyway, I started to dump the communication between my computer and MIDI Timepiece and I could figure out some SYSEX command to program MTP-AV and how to create, name and save some setting on modifiers.
These are the commands that are already defined and can be send by any sequencer:
1 - Channel Re-Mapping
2 - Mute Notes/Multichannel Settings
3 - Mute Data
4 - MIDI Input/Output Routing
5 - Global Setup
6 - Sync Part 2
7 - Sync Part 1
8 - PANIC
9 - Write Block
10 - Set Pedal - Can be saved/called on a Modifier
11 - Set Knob - Can be saved/called on a Modifier
12 - Name Setup/Modifier
13 - Select Setup
14 - Select Modifier
15 - Clear Modifier
16 - Select Patch
17 - Configure Patch
The text with the complete commands and syntax is too long to post here. If you like to know how to use then, I save it as a PDF on my web site and the direct link to download it is:

Feel free to use it because they are just others resources of Timepiece AV !!!!!!!

I think you're probably violating a license agreement with MOTU or perhaps their copyright for that document by republishing it on the internet and by making it appear to be your own work.
The leading cause of wrong answers is asking the wrong questions.

Re: Timepiece MTP AV SYSEX List and Modifiers for Windows
Thank you 1nput0utput for your observation.
I just change the PDF file making clear that I just Compiled, I did not create it. I'm just listing the commands that is inherent to Timepiece AV and telling how to use it.
This command are commands accepted by Timepiece, they are resources of Timepiece AV. If you compare it with a car, it is like telling you how to open the car's doors, how to turn the lights on. These commands are there to be used.
MIDI Timepiece does a lot of things on Windows and they don't tell us how to do. If I find out how to do it and I am telling people how to do it, I don't think I am violating any copyright. I'm just telling how to use better on Windows this good piece of machine that is Moto Timepiece AV.
All these commands can be found on the file saved by CLOCKWORKS. I'm just explaining how to use it. If you send that file as a SYSEX file to Timepiece you will be uploading the setup saved with CLOCKWORKS. They are just SYSEX command, one after the other.
The only thing that are mine are the hours I am spending trying to understand it. It is fun too. But, Motu could make this job much more ease if they give us the listing as all other hardware manufacture does.

Re: Timepiece MTP AV SYSEX List and Modifiers for Windows
Thank you ADR.
Great job.
I haven't been able to communicate with my MTPII since the old days of the ISA computers.
Yes my MTPII's interface is the ancient 8 bit PcCard.
Since then, it is only a MIDI patch bay.
But it's great to know that it is possible to do cable routing without using the knobs, as they are starting to behave badly.
