Perhaps a stupid question

Did you get a manual with your legal, registered copy of MX4?
Sorry, but your post really invites the question.

patch loading
yes-- I do have a legal copy with the manual, and also two legal copies of DP. So maybe I am completely brain dead, but there is nothing in the manual index under "load", or "patch", and on page 33 there is a nice description of the "save" function, but nothing on how to export the patch or import it. And I don't see anything in the tables of contents.
I'm sure its in here, so if you can spare me the suspense, how about just telling me what page its on.

I'm such an innocent. Can someone crack the USB dongle and override copy protection? Seems like a tough one to do.James Steele wrote:Did you get a manual with your legal, registered copy of MX4?

Regrettably, I don't think it's that hard anymore, MikeMIDI Life Crisis wrote:I'm such an innocent. Can someone crack the USB dongle and override copy protection? Seems like a tough one to do.James Steele wrote:Did you get a manual with your legal, registered copy of MX4?

I heard rumors someone had managed to crack Waves (from the dongle) no too long ago.
PT's hardware dongle was also cracked.
I think they do something with code that fools the security devices.
Either way, I hope iLok and Synchrosoft are working on thier new-generation devices. They better be if they want to remain in business for a little while longer...
BTW, what's up with that idiot from above? He can't even spam properly
