i have just started using protools after ages on DP, and want to use my machfive with it, but cannot find my manual.
Can anyone explain what i have to do to create samples and load them into MachFive whilst working in ProTools?
I have tried following the tech notes on Motu's site but their suggestion just doesn't work!
I'm using PTtdm 6.9, an edirol PCR50 and a G5 running os10.3.8
thanks
adam

machfive and protools

Re: machfive and protools
Only did it once. Hope I remember correctly.
1) record audio in Pro Tools.
2) trim up samples
3) Normalize with audiosuite plug-in
4) Open Audio Files folder for the session
5) Drag the samples into the blue keyboard area in the Mach Five window.
There may be better, or more detailed ways to do it, but I think this will work.
