Hello... with the soundcard that I had (lexicon omega)all was perfect with MIDI... I have a electronic drum Roland TD4 and now with my new ultralite some notes in cubase are missing... I´ve read the manual of ultralite, the manual of roland but nothing... With my lexicon omega all was perfect, simply plug the MIDI cable and work fine... but now with this some notes doesn´t sound...
Can you help me please???

i was searching about the poroblem and the problen is in the motu... Can I use a MIDI USB cable for transmit data to cubase and output by the motu ultralite???

Yeah, the MOTU MIDI interface does occasionally "lose" MIDI messages. This makes it completely unreliable. I have no idea why they even bothered putting MIDI jacks on it. MOTU should have used the space for balanced Main Out XLR jacks. At least that would have been useful.
Yes, you can get a separate MIDI interface, and use it for MIDI In/Out, while also using the MOTU for digital audio input/output. Just get into Cubase's MIDI device settings and tell it to use the new MIDI interface instead of "MOTU MIDI".
