No UVI Window
When I open UVI from Mach Five, the main window doesn't show up. I see its' menu bar and I can open batch windows etc. from the top menu. However, I don't see the main window . I've tried re-installing be I still can't see it. Any ideas how I can get this window to show up????
Re: No UVI Window
I have got a similar problem: The UVI Extract does not get started at all. Nothing seems to happen, whenever I try to start it. I use M5 1.2 and DP4.5.2
Re: No UVI Window
Not in front of my cpu , but if I remember right , you go to: ---/library/application support/motu ( or Mach5 ? )/UVIX. From there you'll be able to start the app.

Re: No UVI Window
it could be a monitors colors resolution...try setting it to millions (+) and see if it shows up...

Re: No UVI Window
Let me add myself to the list of those unable to open UVI-Xtract from the File Browser window within M5.
E-mailed motu tech support on thursday. Hope to hear from them soon.
I put UVI in my dock. I guess that's a workable solution for now.

Re: No UVI Window
Nic from Motu Tech support responded via e-mail yesterday.
He says that "Mach Five looks specifically to this location to launch UVI-Extract:
[Mac HD]/Library/Application Support/MOTU/MachFive "
My error has been in moving all audio apps into the "audio user home library". When I put UVI-Xtract back in the above location and put M5 back into the Mac HD/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/Mas, UVI-Xtract opened up like nobodys business when activating it's button in the M5 File Browser window.
I'm going to have to rethink how I have OSX set up. Maybe I'm trying to be unneccesarily elaborate (like the good o'le OS9 days).

Re: No UVI Window
I also cannot open the UVI-Extract window via the button just below the file browser. Everything else seems to work perfectly though. Strange.

When I installed Mach 5 is in the mac hard drive /Library/Audio/Plug-ins/Mas and UVI-Xtract in [Mac HD]/Library/Application Support/MOTU/MachFive it worked!!!
When I installed or manually moved the components to my user library, UVI-X didn't work.
