MDD mac and estimated performance

heya,

i have a potential deal on a dual 1ghz MDD with 2gb of RAM. it's quite a step above my current giga designs-hotrodded sawtooth, and i wonder what i might expect of it.

most of my sounds and FX are hardware-based, but i wouldn't turn down a chance to use kontakt, zebra and psp nitro in an environment that can actually handle it.

does anyone here have a comparable setup. i intend to borrow the computer for awhile, to see how he performs, but i'm keen =)
