Best Panther Version

I was just trying to get an idea of what versions of Panther(10.3.x) you guys have had the most ease of use and success with. I've used 10.3.5 ever since the beginning, which seems to have worked quite well. The only issue I would feel a need to complain about would be the occasional fan revs while running VI's. Anyway, just curious.

In my opnion 10.3.6 was really good & 10.3.8 was really good.

Keep in mind my day gig is in IT at a 95% Mac environment. So I see all kinds of combinations of OS & hadrware.

Do you think the fan noise was consistent across the different panther versions? Or was it better with a particular version? I suppose this kind of question might be case by case specific, but I thought I'd ask anyway.

I found 10.3.9 better then Jaguar.

And today the TIGER is more robust then Jaguar or PANTHER.

No problems with TIGER and DP 4.52. Although I did learn that it is best to finetune TIGER's "spotlight".
