Flag the notorious, unrepentant San Diego Reason pirate!

It's interesting that grown adults still think that cracking software is not stealing. I bet they would be ticked off if they wrote a great song and found out that millions of people decided to "file share" it instead of buy it from a legit source!

I'm glad that here at MOTUNation we wave the banner of integrity when it comes to this!

Thanks guys!

That's the thing, if they knew what actually went into writing and selling great music, they'd never steal it out of respect for the artist.

Then again, maybe not. As I've mentioned before - my introduction to software piracy came from a young composer friend who brought me a disk with hundreds of programs. I had already purchased the good ones and had no desire to load a questionable disk onto my machine, but I was immediately insensed [sp? spell checker doesn't like it] at the prospect of theft.

Ironically, he wanted me to know about DP 2.7. Based on his recommendation, I bought it and it sat on the shelf (with all the purchased updates) until ver 3.0 or 3.5. I didn't really like the transition from SVP, but the writing was on the wall and... well, the rest is my personal software history. :)

The guys doing a lot of B and C foreign scoring (not something I'd want to be pigeonholed into in L.A.) and I often wonder if he ever bought any programs. Thing is, he was the son of a Dr. and could easily afford software. He just didn't care to buy it.

Talk about loosing one's respect!
