I haven't seen any mention of it working with CueMix, so I don't think that it does.

Be sure to RATE it at the App Store! I did! 12 reviews so far and it's five of five stars!

I didn't read to the bottom of the page when getting the app, so I didn't know it's not supposed to work on the 2gen Touch. I downloaded it and it seems to work great!

That's fantastic news! :) 8)

It does seem odd that they would support 1st gen iPhone, but not 2nd gen iPod Touch. I have rarely, if ever, seen an app like that.

I don't know of anything different about the 2nd gen iPod Touch's WiFi implementation that would make it so different than the earlier iPhone's WiFi. But maybe there's something...

Has anyone else tried DP Control with a 2nd Gen iPod Touch? I'd love to hear other reports on this...

Thanks for posting!

I don't know for sure, but one significant difference is that the 3rd-gen iPod touch has 256 MB RAM while the 1st- & 2nd-gen have only 128 MB.

Brilliant app. But for 1.1, it should really be scaled properly for the iPad. The mixer channels are a little fiddly to my fingers because they're so small. But, I will say I've never had a control surface integrate so quickly or seamlessly with any DAW and the basic controls are worth it alone.

In terms of additional features, I'd love to see control of 3rd party plugins and a step sequencer to start. See LiveControl for TouchOSC to get a sense of what's possible (except the features would be geared toward DP, obviously).

Okay, I can no longer resist. This put me over the edge. I ordered 7.2 and Snow Leopard and downloaded the app to my iPad. I also orderd the new Apple Trackpad (I've been waiting for that and can't wait to use it. I'm most comfortable using trackpads).

Happy days until the credit card bill comes due.

I'm very pleased to see MOTU so active and moving with the times. For the past years I've felt they were somehow a step or two behind, which suited me fine as long as things worked. But things change so fast now. If you get too far behind it costs much more in time and money to catch up.

All I can say is good job, MOTU. I'm glad I stuck it out with you.

Would you guys agree that this is the happiest time you've ever been a DP user?

It is for me.

It feels like Christmas when I was eight years old.

It's NOT an iPad app. It's an iPhone app and shown that way in the App Store.

It's easily the happiest I've been since I first discovered DP.

If all of MOTU's improvements are as good as the ones they have made recently, they can have my money.

Same here!
I've never been this happy with DP. And I recently upgraded from 4.61 to 7.2, so imagine the difference it has made for me 8)

I LOVE DP. Oh, and its PLASMA theme too. Its looks so "high tech" 8)

DP 5 more exciting for me asit added a lot of great new features. I am enjoying DP 7 a lot, but the jump from 6 to 7 or even 5 to 7 wasn't as dramatic or work-changing as the jump from 4 to 5, IMO. DP 7 is, of course, the best release yet, but again, DP 5 was really where it all started to take off.
