Re: bus multiple tracks at the same time?
Did this get fixed for DP8?
This has annoyed me for a very long time. Audio Assignments is so easy, couldn't they have the same thing for sends?
I'd like to know before buying DP8.

No, the Audio Assignments window still does not offer the option of assigning sends.
This is not a 'fix', since it's never been a feature.

In the mean time, what's wrong with dragging and dropping the sends in the mixer, again? It's quite fast, even for multiple tracks.

Re: bus multiple tracks at the same time?
There's nothing wrong with that, it just takes more time that doing it at once. I would think that even just assigning the sends of 48 tracks to the same bus at once could be implemented. That would take a lot less time than doing it 48 times... right?FMiguelez wrote:In the mean time, what's wrong with dragging and dropping the sends in the mixer, again? It would be so much better if MOTU included the send assignments in the Audio Assignments window. Definitely.
My point was that, for now, at least they gave us the ability to drag and drop them, which totally beats selecting from impossibly long lists, like before DP8. This may indicate they are not planning on including them in the previously mentioned window any time soon.

Re: bus multiple tracks at the same time?
I'm reviving this thread 10 years later!
I was just trying to find a way to mass-assign Sends from audio tracks to the same Bus. I couldn't find anything in the DP 11 manual to this effect. Is it still not possible?
(I was hoping that grouping the tracks then mass-assigning a send would work, just as it does for changing takes etc, but it does not...)...

Re: bus multiple tracks at the same time?
What you CAN do is set one to the output you want, then option-drag that to another track, and another, ad nauseum.

Re: bus multiple tracks at the same time?
Sorry, no access to DP at the moment, so going from memory, but doesn’t the Audio Assign command do it?
Or selecting all the tracks holding one of the mod keys (Alt?) and assigning one of them, affects all those selected?
