Whatever you're comfortable with Shooshie. I understand the concerns. Fortunately I don't think the music software resale guys are the hardcore hacker types that are likely to exact retribution, assuming they joined the list themselves and then got your email address because you made a post. I don't even think they're aware of it's existence and I don't tell them.Shooshie wrote:I believe in what you're doing, 100%. Support it, as in doing it? I'm not so sure, James. It brings back memories documented above (and that's only part of the story), and just doesn't feel like something I want to do. But let me ask you a few things...
So, it doesn't matter where you live? The one time I ever checked out Craig's List, I could not see San Diego or anywhere else. It only let me look at Dallas and nearby areas. Maybe I just don't know how to use it. Needless to say, it offered very little in the way of things that I might find useful. Dallas isn't a musical hotspot, even though some great music and musicians do come from here.
Does one have to GO to Craig's List to do this? Is it literally just a matter of responding to an email?

It doesn't matter where you live. When you get an email, you click the link in the email to go to the criagslist ad where you then flag the ad bt clicking the link craigslist provides in the upper right. All the details are in the main thread which can be reached via the banner ad at the upper left of this site.
Either way... I understand completely if you'd rather not.
