Hi,
I recently upgraded to Mach Five 2. I've been trying to find an "expert mode" feature that I used to use on a few old patches in Mach Five 1 - it was essentially "key range crossfade." I have a string pizzicato sound consisting of two patches - celli/bass and vln/vla. The celli/bass upper key limit is G3, and violin lower key limit is G2. In Mach Five 1 you could specify that as you approached one end of the key range of a patch, the notes would gradually get quieter (or the opposite - a patch could "fade in" starting from one end of its range). So in this case, for instance, the celli/bass would "fade out" starting from G2 up to G3, and the violin/violas would "fade in" from G2 to D3.
To be clear, I know that there are many fabulous pizz patches out there, and I own quite a few of them! But I have an affection for this ol' patch, and would like to still be able to use it as described. Couldn't find the "key range fadeout" feature in Mach Five 2 - is it still there somewhere?
Thanks,
Peter
Key range crossfade still available in Mach Five 2?
