Using Z3ta+ on a MAC

Post by Chazperx »

Hi:

Amongst other plugins, I use Rapture and Dimension Pro, but there is nothing like the Z3ta+. Is there a plugin that allows me to use this VST on a MAC?

Thanks in advance for your help!

z3ta only runs on a pc as VST. That VST wrapper won't work.

The only way I know of is to run CrossOver Games and run one of the lightweight VST hosts on it. The MIDI is available that way using virtual MIDI ports with MIDI Pipe or other ways. The Audio is routed to your Mac host with JackOSX. You have to also find JackWASIO to install into the crossover bottle.

I have successfully run Jamstix, Cobalt and OP-X Pro this way on my mac. I can't garantee z3ta will work, but its worth a try. Most of the above is free or inexpensive software.
